Why
the
pelican?

In medieval Christian artwork, the pelican is often portrayed feeding her young by piercing her chest and pouring out her blood.  While this might be a startling portrayal of motherhood, it beautifully captures the self-sacrificial nature of this call.  In pregnancy, birth, and beyond, women give freely of themselves for the sake of their children.  I want to honor that reality and help moms see the beauty of their vocation amidst the sometimes large challenges that come with bringing new life into the world.  I also love to help women navigate the transitions that come with every new pregnancy and throughout their motherhood journey.
